RASTIC was a joint project with British Rail, and Permaquip.
The project was to make a machine that could bend rail joints straight to within +/- 0.1 mm.
Fisher Consultants re-designed the electronics for the vehicle started by another supplier and successfully achieved the aim of the project.

Fisher Consultants designed and supplied counter boards for the Hewlett-Packard computer that controlled the rollers that placed the track in the correct alignment.
